aka Spekkie
This little rascal certainly put us to the test as a youngster. The daughter of Inferno, Spekkie was born a tiny but perfect little girl. However, due to the difficult circumstances surrounding her mother's pregnancy (which you can read about in Inferno’s bio), she struggled with developmental growth from the start.
Spekkie faced a grueling battle with internal parasites that refused to respond to any chemical intervention. We feared we might lose her several times.
In a final "Hail Mary" effort, we developed a holistic protocol: a specific combination of herbs to target the worm load, tissue salts to bolster her immune system, and "Superboost" to provide the essential trace elements so vital to goats.
It proved to be exactly what the doctor ordered.
Spekkie didn’t just stabilize; she began to flourish.
Despite her physical recovery, we remained concerned as she struggled to find her "hoofing" within the herd, often remaining isolated.
That changed the moment Devi the sheep arrived. Also in need of a friend, the two hit it off immediately. They became inseparable, and Spekkie went from strength to strength.
Today, she is glossy, healthy, and carries an attitude that screams: "I am woman, hear me roar!" She is rarely found far from Mr. Sheep, her loyal personal bodyguard.
The wonder of nature and the power of cross-species friendships humble us daily. We love you, Spekkie girl, and we are so glad you are part of the Besida family—where no animal is left behind.
