Simba

Simba is our huge ginger cat. We got a call one day from someone who had heard of us somewhere. The person said that his neighbors had moved, and they left their cat locked inside the house with his food, bed and scratching post. He had no idea what to do. We told him to bring the cat in and we’ll try and find it a home.

Simba arrived and he was so scared that he spent his first two weeks on top of a ledge in the living room and refused to move. We knew he was eating as his bowls got emptier every night.

The day he finally came down and rubbed himself against my leg it was over. I couldn’t move him and traumatize him again. He turned into such a loving boy. He never leaves the house and has his place where he sleeps most of the day. He comes down every now and again when he sees a human, for some cuddles. He is our big boy with so much love to give.
