River

(a.k.a. Rivi)

Storm

River is the daughter of Storm, our matriarch, and as such is under the protection of the big lady herself. Even though Rivi was born here she tends to prefer engaging mostly with her mom and sister and is not very driven to form human bonds.

She is a clear example of how exceptionally different goat personalities can be; no two of these creatures being exactly alike. She is independent, strong-willed and able to scale a two-meter barrier with ease should she set her mind to it.

This lanky young girl stands proud next to her mom and sister.  Rivi is the epitome of how deeply goats value their family systems and how loyal they are to each other. A loss in the family system causes severe distress in goats.

I am grateful that Rivi can stay with her family and grow up feeling safe and secure surrounded by their love.
