Rambo

aka Mr. Man/Dobby/Bob

Rambo is a small dude who is firmly convinced he is a literal lion. One moment he is the soul of kindness—all cuddles and tender "love noises"—and the next, he’s decided there’s a battle to be won. Size is entirely irrelevant to Rambo; in his mind, he is an apex predator, which frequently leads to him needing a tactical rescue. Does he learn from these encounters? Nooooooo.

At the sanctuary, Rambo is our resident "hunter-in-chief." While no mouse, rat, or lizard is safe on his watch, his ambition often outweighs his weight class. He famously decided to take on a massive turkey—a showdown that, predictably, ended in a miserable (yet hilarious) failure for our small hero.

Even the sanctuary goats aren't off-limits; he regularly tries to hold his own against them, though they usually just bow their heads and let their horns do the talking.

Needless to say, "Mr. Man" is a handful and remarkably high-maintenance, but boy, do we love him. There is something truly magical about the way this fierce warrior melts, tucking himself into my neck and making those soft, sweet sounds. His bravery may be entirely nonsensical at times, but his heart is massive, and Besida wouldn 't be the same without our pint-sized lion.
