The divine Cuddles joined our Besida family in July 2025. While she was initially quite overwhelmed and fearful of the world around her—from humans to the resident donkeys—it didn't take long for her true spirit to shine through. After Besida tended to her allergies and old wounds, "Miss C" decided it was time to stop hiding and start living.

Since then, Cuddy has simply flourished. She has transformed into a social butterfly that plays like a maniac with the Director’s dogs and her SABA foster siblings. She has also made it very clear that she is a lady of leisure; she isn’t a fan of cold mornings and prefers an extra snooze in bed while the humans are out attending to the goats, sheep, and donkeys. She firmly believes that sanctuary life should run on her timetable, and honestly, we’re happy to oblige!

Now, she demands love and attention wherever she goes—and why wouldn’t she? As the only Bulldog around, she has pizzazz and charisma in spades. Anyone standing still should be prepared for licks and kisses from this beautiful blonde. We are so happy to have met you, Cuddy Bear. Enjoy the good life at Besida—where no animal is left behind.
